You need the right knowledge to start on the right foot if you’re a total beginner. But starting the game can be daunting as you will probably put in hours on your character in the game. Class Selection
With 15 Lost Ark classes to choose from, Amazon’s new MMO can be tough to get your head around. While it is a lot, the positive is that Lost Ark supports loads of different play styles. However you like to play MMOs, there is likely a class that will appeal to you. We recommend that you try to pick a class you will stick to within the game. This is important as it is hard to switch up classes once you have gotten to a higher level. Building up Rapport is a long task, but it can be made easier by giving them gifts and completing their quests.
Explore Islands
Once you complete the initial part of the Lost Ark story in Luterra and unlock your first ship, you’re able to travel to all sorts of islands around Arkesia. These play a crucial role in the end game, as you’ll need to explore new lands to unlock better rewards and upgrade your gear. Each island is unique and will award you with many different items, ranging from mounts to Honing Materials. Also, some of these islands are time-sensitive, so don’t feel bad if you can’t find the island or if it seems like there is nothing on it.
Focus On Engravings
The Engraving System in Lost Ark enables the use of powerful passives called Engravings. These passives can drastically alter the playstyle and power of your character. These are shared between your roster or rather, the characters on a single server. This allows you to use multiple characters to build up Engravings for a single character. To activate them, you can either wear accessories that provide points to your upgrade and once you have enough points, you get that upgrade activated.
Dismantling and Transferring
In the inventory menu, you can dismantle gear - armors, weapons, gems. This can be done to save inventory space by breaking items down into two types of components. Dismantled items can be sold for a higher price than if you just sold them directly. This also saves up inventory space, as “trash” items stack together, usually taking up only one inventory slot. For gears in which you have invested upgrade material, you can transfer all their upgrades to another similar gear for a price. This allows you to save on your upgrade materials instead of having to farm them all over again just because your last piece of gear can’t hold in your future quests.
Set Up Bifrost
In Norse Mythology, the Bifrost is a rainbow bridge that connects Asgard to Midgard. It served as a Travel means between realms and in Lost Ark, it has the same purpose. The Bifrost in Lost Ark is instant teleportation to your chosen location. But whenever you click on Move, you will cost 1000 Silver. After which, the Bifrost will have approximately an hour or two of Cooldown. You can set them up near spots you will need to visit often to avoid wasting your time traveling by that slow boat.
